• A party to the contract between travelers and local hosts
• Liable for the actions, omissions, or conduct of users on the platform

All arrangements, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, activities, and guidance, are the sole responsibility of the local host who creates and manages the trip.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 For Travelers

• You are responsible for verifying the credentials and reliability of local hosts before joining a trip
• You must complete mandatory profile verification as required by the platform
• You are responsible for making payments according to the agreed terms (advance and remaining amounts)
• You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and participate at your own risk
• You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and travel requirements
• You are responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents, insurance, and visas

3.2 For Local Hosts

• You are responsible for the accuracy of trip information, pricing, and availability
• You must complete mandatory profile verification to build trust
• You are responsible for arranging all trip facilities (accommodation, transport, activities, guidance)
• You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
• You are responsible for the safety and well-being of travelers during the trip
• You must maintain appropriate insurance coverage for hosting activities

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TravelBuddiz, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Personal injury, property damage, or death resulting from participation in trips
• Disputes between travelers and local hosts
• Failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in trip listings or user-generated content
• Interruptions or cessation of the platform or services

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

5. Travel Risks and Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Accidents, injuries, or health issues
• Natural disasters, weather conditions, or acts of God
• Political instability, civil unrest, or security concerns
• Transportation delays, cancellations, or failures

By using TravelBuddiz and participating in trips, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with travel. You agree that TravelBuddiz is not responsible for any such risks or consequences arising therefrom.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment terms, refund policies, and cancellation fees are determined by individual local hosts and may vary by trip. TravelBuddiz facilitates payment processing but is not responsible for:

• Disputes regarding payment amounts, refunds, or cancellations
• Host failure to provide services as described
• Payment processing errors or delays by third-party payment providers
• Currency conversion rates or fees

Refunds and cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy of each individual trip and host. Please review trip details and cancellation policies before booking.

7. Verification and Trust

While TravelBuddiz requires mandatory profile verification for both travelers and local hosts, verification does not guarantee:

• The accuracy of user-provided information
• The quality, safety, or legality of trips or services
• The reliability, trustworthiness, or conduct of users
• Compliance with local laws or regulations

Users are encouraged to exercise due diligence, read reviews, communicate with hosts/travelers, and make informed decisions before participating in trips.
